The Prop Shop at Hollywood Studios closed the beginning of April and the three Star Tours dies that were in a machine at that location replaced the Frozen dies in a machine at Legends of Hollywood. Now the Star Tours dies have been replaced with new Star Wars dies.

The new designs that are now in this machine at Legends of Hollywood are Kylo Ren with two storm troopers standing in the background, R2-D2 and Yoda.

A few days ago a new Marvel Super Hero Headquarters store opened at Disney Springs. A new 8-die penny machine with a Marvel Avengers series has just been installed in this store. This is the second 8-die penny machine to be installed at Disney Springs. The cost to obtain designs from both machines is the same with $1 for one design or $5 for all eight designs.

The machine from Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure and one of the Prop Shop machines have been placed back on-stage. Both machines are now in new locations at Hollywood Studios since the old locations are currently under construction.

The machine that was at Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure that had designs with Iridessa, Flik, Tinker Bell and Heimlich is now at Stage 1 Studio Store. The Prop Shop machine that was originally installed at L.A. Cinema Storage is now at Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost. This machine has designs with Movie Director Mickey, Goofy with film reels, Rosetta and singing Minnie.

Several more machines at Hollywood Studios are off-stage due to the construction and areas being closed. A few machines in these areas have already been relocated that were mentioned in previous posts. Unfortunately, there are several machines that still need to be relocated or will be retired.

The machines that will either be relocated or retired are the 4-die Monsters, Inc. machine and another 4-die machine with Movie Director Mickey, Goofy with film reels, Rosetta and Singing Minnie. A 3-die machine with two designs from The Incredibles movie and Olaf from Frozen has also been removed. All three of these machines were located at the Prop Shop.

One other 4-die machine that was located at Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure that had designs with Iridessa, Flik, Tinker Bell and Heimlich has also been removed.

Two machines at Hollywood Studios have been moved to different locations. The machine that was at the Prop Shop that had designs with Mickey with vintage film camera, Merida, Phineas & Ferb and Buzz Lightyear was recently removed for refurbishment. The machine cabinet has been repainted and this machine is now located near the Indiana Jones exit.

The machine at the Prop Shop that has a 2016 penny design has been moved to Disney Traders at EPCOT. What is interesting is that this same machine cabinet used to be at Disney Traders a few years ago with different designs.

This will reduce the number of machines at Hollywood Studios Prop Shop from seven machines to five. Keep in mind that these five remaining machines at the Prop Shop will have to be removed or relocated before April 2 due to the construction that is going on at Hollywood Studios.

The quarter machine that was at Mickey's of Hollywood Shop at Hollywood Studios and then moved to Pizza Planet is now back on-stage at the Stage 1 Company Store in a different cabinet.

When this quarter machine was at the Pizza Planet location a 2016 quarter was installed on December 30, 2015 which was shortly after the machine had been relocated. Due to the Pizza Planet refurbishment that began January 19, all the pressed coin machines at that location were removed by that date.

We still don't know what will happen to the other four machines that were at Pizza Planet but we sure are glad that the quarter machine with a 2016 design is back on-stage at the Stage 1 Company Store.
