A new 4-die Tower of Terror machine has been installed in the Hollywood Tower Courtyard. All four designs are vertical designs and have the Hollywood Tower Hotel logo at the bottom. One design has scared Mickey Mouse in front of the hotel elevator. A similar design with Minnie is on the second design. A third design has Goofy as a bellhop in front of hotel room 1313. The fourth design has Chip and Dale as bellhops in front of the Hollywood Tower Hotel.

Pizza Planet at Hollywood Studios is scheduled to be closed for refurbishment from January 19 thru November 6, 2016. Currently, there are five pressed coin machines at this location including the two machines that were recently moved there from Mickey's of Hollywood. The 3-die quarter machine at this location that was originally at Mickey's of Hollywood contains a new 2016 design that was just installed December 30, 2015. It is not known at this time what will happen to these five machines. We are guessing that some of the machines will be retired and hopefully some of the machines like the quarter machine with a 2016 design will be relocated to a different location.

All of our checklists, listings and database were updated today. These changes include all fifteen of the new 2016 coins.

We have also made changes to our website to the Celebrations dropdown menu at the top of every page to include an option to display the dated annual coins that started with only one design in 2013.

The last four 2016 quarter designs have been put on-stage at Epcot near the Garden Grill restaurant in The Land, All-Star Music, All-Star Sports and the Contemporary. The quarter machine near the Garden Grill at Epcot has a design with Donald with a tuba stuck around his neck. At All-Star music is a design with Daisy playing a violin. At All-Star Sports is a design with Minnie playing a bass violin. A horizontal design with the year 2016 in large letters and the words Music, Magic, Memories along with a banner that says Where Magic Lives is at the Contemporary resort.
