Three 4-die hand crank machines that accept one dollar bills and a credit card instead of the normal two quarters and the penny that you want to press have been placed on-stage at Magic Kingdom. Two new machines with new designs are located at the Main Street Railroad Station. One machine that appears to have the same die ring but has been converted to accept dollar bills and credit cards is the Tomorrowland Speedway machine.
All three of these machines are preloaded with copper plated zinc pennies so you will no longer be able to use copper pennies that most collectors use. A credit card can only be used if you want all four designs. There is no discount if you want all four designs like there is for the eight and twelve die machines. If you are using dollar bills you can still speed load the machine as you have been able to do in the past by inserting all your money first before you start turning the hand crank. One word of caution is that if you only want to get one design at a time then you need to align up the wheel with the design that you want and then insert your dollar bill as you did in the past. The only difference is that you can't start cranking the handle right away because it takes 2-3 seconds for the dollar bill to register. If you start turning the handle too fast before the machine recognizes your dollar bill then you will end up getting a different design then you want. The bad thing is that there is nothing on the machine telling you when it's OK to start turning the hand crank. There are instructions on the machine telling you to wait 2 to 3 seconds.
One new machine at the Main Street Railroad Station has these four new designs - Mickey serenading Minnie with a musical instrument, Mickey & Minnie in a horseless carriage, Minnie dancing and Train Engineer Mickey on a train. The second new Main Street Railroad Station machine has four more new 2019 designs with Cinderella's Castle, Space Mountain, Dumbo and a Ship. The Tomorrowland Speedway machine still looks the same other then the new part that accepts dollar bills and credit cards. All the designs still appear to be the same.
