Two new 8-die machines are now available at Walt Disney World. The first 8-die machine is inside The Queen's Table located in the United Kingdom World Showcase at Epcot. These new designs have United Kingdom on them and have Winnie the Pooh or Alice in Wonderland characters.

The second new 8-die machine is located at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resort outside of Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. The three 3-die penny machines at that location have all been removed and are now retired.

The 3-die machine outside of Island Mercantile that has a 50th Anniversary design with the character Dante from the Disney/Pixar movie Coco has been moved. This machine is now located beside the two 3-die machines at Discovery Trading Company. At the Island Mercantile there is a new 8-die machine with characters from the Disney movie Zootopia.

Both of the machines at Wyndham Lake Buena Vista have been converted to a $1.00 preloaded penny machine and placed back on-stage in the same locations that they were at before being converted.

One thing to note is that the dies for the second and third positions for the Goofy and Pluto designs in the lobby machine have been swapped. Pluto is now the second design and Goofy is the third design.

Recently, the two 3-die pressed penny machines and a single die pressed quarter machine were removed from the Wilderness Lodge Bus Stop. A single 3-die machine converted to a $1.00 preloaded penny machine has been brought back. Two of this machine designs are the same but the design with Simba was replaced with the Winnie the Pooh 6 of 7 design that was in the other penny machine that was at this location.

We will be marking the Simba design from one machine and the Pocahontas and Meeko designs from the other pressed penny machine as retired. The single die quarter machine will also be marked as retired.

The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary pressed penny count is now up to 51. At first, we thought we had miscounted but now it makes sense that there are probably going to be 50 Walt Disney World pressed penny designs and one 50th anniversary coin for each of the three resorts that are also 50 years old. They are the Contemporary Resort, Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

At Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground inside the Meadows Trading Post all three designs have been replaced. There is one design celebrating the 50th anniversary of this resort and two designs with one having Chip and the other design with Dale

We now believe that there are two Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary pressed penny designs remaining to make a total of 50 and all three of the 50th anniversary resort designs are already available.

It appears that all the four Walt Disney World parks and Disney Springs have all the 50th Anniversary pressed pennies that they are going to receive. In addition to these new coins four anniversary designs we previously reported at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The Boardwalk Resort also has an anniversary design with the Disney character Goofy.

Below are the five 50th Anniversary designs that are available at Animal Kingdom. Dante the Dog from the Disney / Pixar movie Coco is located in a machine outside of Island Mercantile. Pua from the Disney movie Moana is located in a machine inside Chester & Hester's Dinosaur Treasures. The last three designs pictured below are Simba in a machine at Discovery Trading Company, Pumbaa at the Dawa Bar and Timon is at a machine outside of Curiosity Tourism.

All of the machines that were at Disney's Contemporary Resort have been removed and replaced with two new 8-die machines. One of these new machines has four new 50th Anniversary designs. Three of these anniversary designs have the Walt Disney World logo on them as most of the anniversary pressed pennies have but there is one design that does not have this. On this one 50th design it has Contemporary Resort on it to celebrate 50 years of this resort.

We usually only post information on our blog about Walt Disney World pressed coin designs. With the start of the 50th Anniversary celebration of Walt Disney World there are a lot of different collectibles to celebrate this event. We know a lot of the pressed coin collectors are also collecting the Collectible Medallions. At the Contemporary Resort the first of these medallions to celebrate the 50th Anniversary is also available. Below is a picture of the medallions that are available in this machine that is next to the two new 8-die Contemporary pressed penny machines.

Inside Disney's Pin Traders at Disney Springs two 3-die machines have been changed and each machine now has a new Disney World 50th Anniversary design.

The Donald Duck design in a machine with Mickey and Pluto designs has been replaced with a 50th Anniversary design with the Cheshire Cat.

Maleficent that is the 2 of 7 design from the Disney's Villains series has been replaced with a 50th Disney World Anniversary design that has Miguel Rivera from the Disney/Pixar's movie Coco.
