A new 8-die penny and medallion machine is now on-stage at Anandapur Yak & Yeti Restaurant inside Animal Kingdom.

The new T-Rex Cafe 8-die penny and medallion machines at Disney Springs are now on-stage. This new penny machine replaces the two 4-die machines that were at this location and removed a few days ago.

A new Rainforest Cafe 8-die pressed penny and medallion machine is also on-stage at Animal Kingdom. Below is a picture of the pressed penny machine and the screen showing the eight designs that are available to get.

The reason the machines were removed from all the Landry's restaurants was due to them getting new machines from a different vendor than who Disney uses.

So far we know that the Rainforest Cafe at Disney Springs had an 8-die penny machine and a medallion machine delivered this morning. T-Rex machines were not delivered but should be there soon. One thing to note is that the new machines do not take cash.

All the pressed quarter and penny machines that were located in the restaurants owned by Landry's have been removed and are now considered retired. The machines inside T-Rex and Rainforest Cafe at Disney Springs were removed yesterday. The machines at the Rainforest Cafe and Yak & Yeti at Animal Kingdom were removed today.

We also know that the machine at Bubba Gump at Universal Studios CityWalk was also removed. We're not positive but it appears that the pressed coin machines located at all the Landry's restaurants are being removed.

Test Track at Epcot is officially reopening July 22, 2025, but was open to annual passholders a few days ago for testing. In addition to the name change of the gift store to Test Track Gear Shop there is a new 8-die machine that has replaced the old pressed penny machine at this location. Several designs are similar but all of the new eight designs no longer have the Test Track logo on them.

Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaii now has an 8-die penny machine. One thing that is unique with these penny designs are that they are what is referred to as mule designs because the have a backstamp on the reverse of the coin with the resort name and logo. These new coins are pictured below with the last image being what the backstamp looks like from one of the coins.

In preparation for the closing of PizzeRizzo and Muppet Vision 3D the two machines at PizzeRizzo have been moved. There were three machines at this restaurant but the machine on the second floor was removed a few months ago. The remaining two machines with one located inside on the first floor and the other one outside have been relocated outside a nearby building facade on Grand Avenue. The new location for these two machines is the Grand Lofts at 728 Grand Avenue. We will change the location for these two machines in our database as 728 Grand Avenue.

The Hollywood Studios 35th Anniversary designs have been replaced with the Monsters, Inc. designs that were previously located in the Hollywood Junction 4-die machine.
