 Heritage House Quarter Die Change

Ratatouille 1 of 5 with Cafe Cuties quarter design inside the Heritage House gift shop at Magic Kingdom has been removed and replaced. The Friends 3 of 8 quarter design with Pinocchio & Jiminy Cricket that was at the Boardwalk Resort lobby is now at the Heritage House. This change completes the removal of all five of the Ratatouille series quarter designs.

The Ratatouille 2 of 5 quarter design at Mickey's of Hollywood at Hollywood Studios has been removed and retired. The new quarter design for the button "B" position now has a vertical design with Minnie Mouse in costume standing in front of two large stars.

 Disney's Boardwalk Inn Quarter Machine Change

The single die quarter machine at Disney's Boardwalk Inn has been changed to a three die penny machine. The new designs are:

  • Button A - Chip relaxing with hands behind his head
  • Button B - Winnie the Pooh with an umbrella behind his back, a scarf around his neck, on a blustery day
  • Button C - Donald Duck sitting with an elephant squirting water on top of his head

The Friends 3 of 8 quarter design with Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket that was at the Boardwalk will be moved to a different location. We will post something about this whenever the move has been completed.

The four die hand crank pressed penny machine with Tron designs at Hollywood Studios Prop Shop has been changed. All four Tron designs are now retired. The new designs are:
  • Merida (From Brave) standing
  • Mickey with an old time movie camera filming to the right
  • Agent P from Phineas and Ferb with tools around
  • Buzz Lightyear with wings ready for flying

The three die quarter machine at The Land near the Garden Grill Restaurant at EPCOT has had a die change. The Ratatouille series 3 of 5 quarter design with Remy, "Too pretty to eat!" has been retired and replaced. The new design is a vertical design that has Merida and three bear cubs from the movie Brave for the button "B" position.

The three die quarter machine at the All-Star Movies Resort with Ratatouille 5 of 5 has had a die change. The Ratatouille quarter design with the Ratatouille logo has been retired and replaced. The new design is a vertical design that has Mickey Mouse with a video camera and audio equipment filming to the left for the button "B" position.

 Contemporary Resort Quarter Machine Change

The quarter machine at the Contemporary Resort with Snow White, Dumbo and Ratatouille 4 of 5 has had a die change. The Ratatouille design with Remy standing and holding a wooden spoon has been retired and replaced with a Winnie the Pooh design for the button "C" position. This new quarter design has Winnie the Pooh looking into an empty "Hunny" jar while a bee flies overhead.

 Checklists and Listings Updated Today

Most of our checklists and listings were updated today. They include all known recent changes including the conversion of the All-Star Movie Resort quarter machine from a single die to a three die machine. The listings also include the die swaps between Legends of Hollywood in Hollywood Studios with three dies from Goombay Games Arcade at Caribbean Beach Resort.

 Shades of Green Machines

Last year, one of the penny machines was removed from the Shades of Green Resort. A few months ago, the remaining penny machine and the quarter machine were also removed. It is our understanding that none of these three machines will be returning and there will no longer be any pressed coin machines at the Shades of Green Resort.

 Hollywood Studios - New Star Tours Designs

Star Wars Weekends at Hollywood Studios started today, Friday, May 17 and will end on Sunday June 9. From Friday until Sunday of each weekend during this event, a merchandise tent which is called Darth's Mall is open for people to purchase Star Wars merchandise.

A new 3-die pressed penny machine with Star Tours designs was put on-stage this morning by the Darth's Mall exit queue. All three designs have the Star Tours logo at the top. Button A produces a Princess Leia Minnie design. Jedi Mickey is produced when you press button B and Darth Vader Goofy is in the button C position.
