The Disney resort pressed penny machine conversions to $1.00 preloaded zinc pennies have begun. The machine located at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa was recently removed and has been converted and returned to this resort.

The 3-Die penny machines at Epcot are being rapidly converted to $1.00 preloaded zinc penny machines. As of Friday, February 5, there have been seven machines removed, converted and placed back on-stage. The machines that have been converted are:

• Morocco - Souk-al-Magreb


• Port of Entry


• Disney Traders machine with the 2021 design. The second machine at this location is still available and not converted.


• Norway - The Puffin's Roost


• International Gateway - World Traveler


• Italy - La Bottega Italiana


• Germany. This machine has been moved and is a little difficult to find. It is now located to the right of the large wall mural near the Sommerfest restaurant.

The 4-Die penny machine that was located inside Big Top Souvenirs at Magic Kingdom has been unavailable due to Covid-19 and the store being closed. The machine that was inside this store has been moved and is now located in the back part of Storybook Circus under the tent that is to the right of Pete's Silly Side Show.

The 3-die penny machine that was located inside the Outpost Shop that is still closed at Animal Kingdom has been placed back on-stage at the Stroller Rentals at Garden Gate Gifts. This machine contains Disney Conservation Fund designs with Russell, Kevin and Dug that are based on the Pixar Movie Up. The machine has also been converted to a $1.00 preloaded zinc penny machine and this completes the conversion of all the 3-die penny machines at Animal Kingdom to preloaded zinc pennies that now cost $1.00 for each design.

The 3-die penny machine conversions have already begun at Epcot and at the pace the conversions are being done it wouldn't surprise us if all these machines will be converted by next week.

Once the 3-die penny machines are converted at Epcot then this will complete the conversion of all the three and four die penny machines at all the Walt Disney World parks and Disney Springs. You will no longer be able to use your own penny to press since all the machines will be preloaded with zinc pennies that will cost $1.00 for each design. There is a discount if you get a complete set from the 8-die machines at a cost of $5 or a 12-die machine at a cost of $10.

The conversion of all the 3-Die penny machines at Animal Kingdom to $1.00 preloaded zinc penny machines has begun and is rapidly progressing.

Since January 4 when the machines at this park were last checked there have already been four machines converted and most of the other 3-die penny machines have been removed. The machines at Serka Zong Bazaar and Ziwani Traders had not been converted and were still available to press using your own penny and two quarters.

The penny machine at Chester and Hester's Dinosaur Treasures that has a 2021 penny was one of the machines that had been converted. The other machines that have been converted were at Dawa Bar, Curiosity Animal Tours and Restaurantosaurus. The machine at Restaurantosaurus on the front porch of this restaurant had been off-stage since last year but was back on-stage and had been converted.

The machines we saw that were missing were at Island Mercantile that had a 2021 penny, both of the machines at Discovery Trading Company and the machine inside of Restaurantosaurus.

The 3-die quarter machine at Harambe Railway Station was also still available.

Our database and all of our listings and checklists were updated today. Due to Covid-19 we have left the designs for locations that are still closed on our listings. Since our last update all the 3-die machines at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios have been converted to $1.00 preloaded zinc penny machines. We expect these converisons to continue in 2021.

So far this year there have been nineteen new 2021 penny designs. Since our last listings that we did August 3, 2020 there have been 75 new designs added and 44 designs removed.

The 2020 dated pennies at Disney's Art of Animation and Polynesian Village Resorts have been replaced with new 2021 Designs. At the Art of Animation Resort there is a new horizontal design with Mickey inside of the zero of a large 2021 year. At Disney's Polynesian Village Resort there is a new 2021 design with Minnie.

The 2020 pressed coin with the Tree of Life that was available to get from the machine inside Chester & Hester's Dinosaur Treasures at Animal Kingdom has been replaced. The new 2021 design also has the Tree of Life on it.

Outside of Island Mercantile there is a 3-die pressed penny machine that now has a new 2021 design with Pluto. This new design replaces the Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade design that was in this machine.

Both of these new designs are currently available to get by using your own penny and two quarters. The machines have not been converted as of this date to a preloaded zinc penny machine that costs $1.00 for each design.

The two 2020 coins at Epcot have been replaced with new 2021 designs and are located inside Disney Traders and The Puffin's Roost at World Showcase Norway. The new 2021 design at Disney Traders has Dale on top of Chip's shoulders. At the Puffin's Roost is a new 2021 design with Spaceship Earth.

Both of these new designs are currently available to get by using your own penny and two quarters. The machines have not been converted as of this date to a preloaded zinc penny machine that costs $1.00 for each design.
